Baqr Eid

This has been a long weekend, because of Baqr Eid.. The day on which we follow the tradition of sacrifice set by our prophet Ibrahim (A.S).... Well, enjoyed alot on this occasion, had 3 days full of guests, meals and enjoyment... Time just slipped away, and didn't get a moment of rest or anything... and now, from tomorrow the same routine will be again started...

Overall it was great occasion, but I do wish, that I had got some moments of peace

and relaxation....

One more thing, thats bothering me today is that my cousin and one of the best friends is going back to England today... and I'm very sad to realize that I couldn't give her proper time... couldn't even hangout with her... :( thats the drawback of this hectic routine... and I know that she would be angry at me... :(

hmmm... Nothing else new right now... just need to focus on my studies as well, i've been neglecting them for a while now...

Reunion party.. :)

it was a get together of old class fellows from UET yesterday, it was actually an engagement treat from two of the class fellows, that turned out to be a nice reunion.. :) well, met lots of people after around 1.5 years... Talked much and enjoyed much... it was nice to know what everyone was doing and how everyone was doing... Overall, I was quite excited after coming back from the party yesterday.. :) Now, waiting for some pics to be uploaded... :)

Mehreen's Wedding

Today, I attended Mehreen's Barat, it was really fun... Saba, Munteha, Nisa, Mehreen B, Saima, Humaira, Basma and Sahar came, and together we enjoyed alot... took loads and loads of snaps... Mehreen was looking really nice MA... May she always be happy and blessed..!! :) Amen

Going to sleep now, have had a very busy and tiring day today.,..

It was Mehreen's Mehndi ceremony today... It was sheer fun..Almost all the girls from office came..and we enjoyed alot.. :) just reached back home.. now working on the assignment.... looking forward to attending the Barat tomorrow.. :)

Another day has gone...

Nothing special happened today, except that i thought that i had Theory of Computation lecture today, while it was yesterday.. :(
Anyways, a long and tiring day is about to end... here in office atleast... have to make an assignment after reaching home.. so lets see...

Joined the UET ACM Student Chapter

Today I went to UET to take Operating Systems class,-for which i studied till 2 AM yesterday..
:( and got to know that class was cancelled today... Anyways, by chance heard about ACM Memberships open, and my two friends very much wanted to join... So, I decided to join as well..
So, am a member for one year now.. As they told us, there will be multiple activities and competitions held under ACM in the following months... So, looking forward to participate in them, and will update about any events... :)
All else is pretty much the same, Project is going fine... an easier project after the last tough one... So, poking my nose here and there...

Doing Homework Again..

I got admission in UET, Lahore for MS in Computer Science, after a year of completing my bachelors and doing job... Everyone said, it would be hard, and yes it is..to some extent..!! mainly beacuse i've forgotten how to study.. :( Well, i got 3 Chapters of Operating Systems as a reading assignment, and have just managed to read about 2 articles.. :) nice progress, isn't it? :)

Well, for the record, i my first class for MS was on December 27th, 2009. Wish me luck, so that I could convince myself to study like a student again..!! :) I am worried because got a written assignment as well for the comparison of different design methodologies, and have passed the whole weekend doing nothing... Anyways... lets see what happens..

Why is it easy to foget?

This is the first time that i am writing here, actually never thought about writing anything about me anywhere..much of an Introvert I am may be... but, now on a sudden impulse i felt a necessity for keeping track of my activities once in a while at least. May be it was because of my increasing rate of forgetfulness, on this rate, i will hardly be able to say next year, where i was a year back.. :) So, i've decided to use this blog as a diary for important events or notes, or my daily status, plus anything good that I come across...
